BRCGS Risk Assessment Training Overview

Risk assessment is a core part of product safety management. When it is weak, inconsistent, or overly subjective, businesses can miss important hazards, apply the wrong controls, or struggle to demonstrate that decisions are justified and effective.

This BRCGS Risk Assessment course helps participants build a clearer understanding of risk assessment terminology, use different risk assessment models more effectively, and understand what BRCGS and similar GFSI-recognised schemes expects from a robust risk assessment process.

Delivered by Food Surety in Virtual Classroom and Classroom training for professionals in New Zealand, Australia and beyond, this one-day risk assessment training helps food industry professionals thoroughly understand risk assessment and enables them to use different risk assessment models, especially when implementing product safety management systems onsite and the requirements of the BRCGS Standards.

This training is of great value to those working with any GFSI recognised certification programmes like BCRGS, FSSC22000, SQF, IFS as well as varied customer standards.

The training uses active learning and case study-based exercises to encourage critical thinking and show how sites can apply best risk assessment practice.

Participants are assessed using a post-course assignment. This course forms part of the BRCGS Professional recognition programme.
